The Oscars 2020 : Several hours have passed since the 92nd Academy Awards, and with it, an answer will be given to the biggest question of our season: can Joaquin Phoenix and Brad Pitt win the first Oscar? Can Parasite make history the first Korean Academy Award-winning film? Will “1917” win the best film and best director? The 2020 Oscars will begin broadcasting on the ABC at 8 p.m. EST and 5 p.m. PST. The show will be broadcast without a presenter for the second year in a row. The American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) offers viewers various ways to broadcast the red carpet live and online rewards.


Oscars ABC 2020 will begin at 18:30 EST / 15:30 PST and will be broadcast live on the official website of the ABC and in the ABC application. Viewers will need to log in to both platforms using their username and password for a wired subscription. The preview includes coverage of the red carpet of the network. The Academy will begin broadcasting live from the Oscars on the red carpet on Twitter early in the day. Free live streaming on the red carpet will be posted on Twitter at 15:30 Eastern time / 12:30 Pacific time. College live streams can be viewed at https://twitter.com/theacademy or via @TheAcademy.

For the Oscar television broadcast, the ABC website and ABC app will be the home of the official ABC live broadcast of the 92nd Academy Award. Likewise, viewers must subscribe to cable television in order to log in and access the live broadcast on the ABC website and in the ABC application. Oscar’s ABC television broadcasts can also be broadcast live for AT & T Now, Hulu subscribers with Live TV and YouTube TV. These various streaming services are available on Amazon Fire TV Stick, Roku TV and Apple TV.

This year, the Oscar is dominated by the Joker starring Joaquin Phoenix, the infamous villain Batman Todd Phillips. “Clown” was nominated for 11 Academy Awards, becoming the most rated film of 2020. Phoenix TV is expected to receive the best actor award, and composer Hilde Gunard Totil is the leader in the competition for the best original soundtrack.

They were followed by The Joker, then The Irish, 1917, and The Hollywood Past, which received 10 Academy Award nominations. Hollywood star Brad Pitt is the leader in the best supporting actress, while Tarantino’s script is competing with Parasite for the best original screenplay. The 1917 film will receive an exclusive role in the craft category, and Sam Mendes will become Oscar’s second best director after American Beauty. Irish may be a rare film that has been nominated and returned empty-handed.
